Alina Zagitova

I have to slow down, after all I have some other obligations too :)

I know that Alina is not here, but only Eteri Georgievna, sorry :) But this video is so suitable for rejoicing after the victory of Alina.
Eteri relaxed dancing under:

"Судьба моя ретивая тебе не по плечу
А я живу красивая как я хочу"

("You can't handle my mettled fate
And I am beautiful, I live as I want")

So awesome, and so right :luv17:

I think Yana is the younger sister of Anya Scherbakova.

Yana sure looks like Anna.

This video must have been a couple years ago when Alina is still did those.

Eteri actually moves her hands really beautifully and softly. It must be something she emphasizes with her skaters as well.

About Alina's programs next season - if they choose ballet again, I want it to be Giselle. I was just watching parts of it and thought that it would be a perfect choice.
Here you can see another Alina doing superbly the mad scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYFGUKowBNc
I think that our Alina will fit into the character of the innocent, young girl Giselle who was betrayed by the prince.

So, about the GP assignments next season, do we know when we will get the official info? I hope it's soon... I've got plenty to do next season but I will definitely try to go to the Grand Prix Final in Torino, Italy. I hope I will meet Alina there. And even sooner, maybe she will choose the Nebelhorn Trophy again and I will get the chance to talk to her again? Oh, but this time in English, I think she understands already enough so that I don't have to make a fool of myself trying Russian.

Do you think you guys can go to a competition to see Alina next season?

I will try to go to some of the European ones. I hope the competition, participants will be decided early enough to plan in advance. Otherwise, it will start to become expensive for me.

Giselle would be amazing! Especially as a Free Skate. And something powerful for the Short.
I would also love to see her one day skate to the music from Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikowsky.

This is my biggest wish, FS related, to be able to watch Alina live  I would like to go to a challenger, it's not so crowded and it's easier to find you favourites, take photos with them, etc. But it is so hard to plan everything, as the entries are posted so late, and even so, we see what happened this season with Alina's challenger choice. So you also need a bit of a luck. Europeans in Graz seem the best choice for me, and I am confident that we will be able to watch Alina there, too.

I love all this content for the japanese Ice Shows. I am sure the girls got along pretty well, and Alina had a great time, making new friends and discovering new places.

I hope your skating wish comes true!

I love seeing pictures of Alina with the other skaters. I was hoping for more, but I imagine she was taking advantage of having her mom all to herself on a 'girls trip' without the pressure of being at a competition. I hope they had a blast sight seeing together.

Do you guys remember last year Alina, Eteri, and Sasha went to a type of press conference after Worlds? Does anyone know if this is a thing that takes place every year?

Alina at GP Rostelecom in 2015.

That year, the Russian ladies competing were Elena Radionova, Evgenia Medvedeva, and Adelina Sotnikova. Rostelecom was Sotnikova's last competition. It was last time Radionova would win gold that season, and it was the first competition Medvedeva would lose in her senior career. The next time Medvedeva lost, would be to Alina.

Time passed quickly, this season, Alina, Polina, and Sofia competed in Rostelecom Cup, and Alina won, while others watched :)
