Btw I was thinking during watching ice dance if Madison Chock and Evan Bates has the same pieceas Alina included. Has to watch it again. If so it’s funny coincidence as her music doesn’t have many views.(And don’t tell anybody but Alina is better Cleopatra than Madi

Alina is an amazing Cleopatra! But isnt Madi a snake? Either way, both are absolutely superb this year, and I'm (extremely) excited to see improvement, especially within Alinas TES. The panel today was extremely strict--every single female skater got called at least once for under rotation (or unclear edge a la Aliona). That's just insane.
Oh is she? I read she is Cleopatra and disn’t Really seeking for it myself. Anyway I like her.
Tech panel was and wasn’t strict. Even in men there were many controversial calls and then no call for evident mistakes. Also hard to relieved Alina’s jumps were the worse with 6 calls today ....
Tech team seems to be obsessed with the edge in this competition. I'm all for it except that Alina isnt even flutzer. She's either a flat edge or a small outside edge. This tech team would have been great for actual flutzers with deep inside edges. I hope ISU arent going to start planting in the idea in competitions that Alina is a "e" skater.

She's a fighter! No doubt about it. I believe she can get it done at NHK.

The way she added that 3Lo after the second 3Lz (with insanely difficult transition) is mind blowing. :eeking:

I also believe they will not giving her ridiculous calls in Japan, bcsuse she is beloved there and that arena would probably explode in case this happen ... spectactors in France seems to be shocked and not pleasantly. This is really killing sport. I mean, results are right, she should be second, but the score is ridiculous. Kaori’s score for free as well.

Have to admitt that when she fell, I was looking forward the whole program for her to add that Loop after second Lz.

Yes, I've noticed that as well
The calls. Yes for the first Lz, Alina probably went into it with too much speed (something that happened to Kaori in LV and in SP here), but the rest is a joke. It truly looked as if the tech controller wanted to show everybody that he is a big boss.

So true. Judges are stricter with her because she’s the reigning queen.
