I hope she will medal, she can do it. It will be a shodown between Rika and Alena if both skate clean. It’s a good thing she has no pressure like before.

I'll try to translate it later, when I have time; just a snippet from the end:
When asked what she likes to do in her free time, Alina said:
- I like to dabble with cosmetics, try out different stuff; especially now when I have so many jars and vials from Shiseido, I get aesthetic pleasure just looking at them*. I like to treat myself to spa procedures - when I massage the creams in, like a hamster**, I relax.

I love that Alina NEVER ever complains and just gets on with the job. Just went home after IdF, made sure of the Lutz edge and came back. She better not get any edge calls.

Alina seems like a quiet and introvert person to me, so complaining vocally in public isn't in her character. But no doubt she is worried over any calls, wether real or fake. And one can be very certain #TeamTutberidzeForProgress's tech specialists went over every of the Four Aces routines in detail and determined for themselves if any calls were true or false, just to validate their skaters.

Perhaps there will be time between trainings and competitions for JPN TV to do some feature clips of their own, or have some 'axelcam' run throughs with the top skaters throwing their best skills and combinations in high resolution high speed video?

Navka was on some morning show not long ago, she was boasting so much about the fact that she managed to get Alina in her show :laugh:
She was like, "I got the best, the coolest skater in the world in my show, I'm so proud of it" :laugh:
It does seem like she invested a lot of money in Sleeping beauty, it will be an awesome experience for Alina, I'm sure :yes:
