yes September would be her comeback month to competition with a challenger and Russian test skates.

How many autographs is she signing and are these for young people or adults? Probably a combination of both.

She wouldn't want her main star to tire out by these sessions, she's a reasonable person.

That makes sense. Honestly, just looking at that huge crowd gave me anxiety. :shocked: Can't imagine doing it twice a day.

Something traditionally from Tatar cuisine no doubt. Grandmothers know best how to cook delicious dishes. Otherwise the best Tatar restaurant in town ;-)

Alina needs to rest. She seems a little worn out. Maybe her suit is too heavy but she’s struggling with her jumps.
 
Chinese New Year 2020 animal sign is the White Rat - well, on it's way to Russia it turned into a hamster (you need more fur in Russia, after all), so next year is, hopefully, Alina's!!! :pray::laugh:

Alina decided to send 2019 out in style. Two perfectly landed jumps and one slight step on the third. ("Not even really a mistake." - as Ted Barton would say ;) ) No hesitation in either lift and actually seemingly enjoying the autograph session!

I think she must have been feeling under the weather the past few days because the difference is noticeable. She's back to slapping hands with the audience which she hadn't done for a few shows (when she was the only one just doing the beauty queen wave I suspected she was either sick or trying not to get sick). And she stayed out on the ice until the very end instead of leaving early.

Alina always looks beautiful but she looked even better today if that is possible. Holiday magic :)
 
Hi everyone. I just came by to thank you for all the wonderful posts this year. Haven’t been writing much, but was diligently reading and really enjoying your writing. I don’t know many skating fans in my real life, figure skating isn’t popular in Bulgaria, so this community has been invaluable.

The last thing I did this year, just before the stores closed - bought a couple of Shiseido items. It was on my to do list. It wasn’t on my list to speak to the manager about why they don’t have the Alina special edition line :-) Of course, he had no idea who Alina is, but took notes. All in all, it was fun.

Now off to a jazz bar. Wishing you a wonderful New Year’s Eve, cosy or noisy. Stay healthy, witty and smart!

2019 was a bright year, and I will remember it for the rest of my life, as well as the Olympic 2018.
The outgoing year was joyful, eventful, but the most important thing was the gold medal at the World Championships in Japan - our common gold with my great coaches Eteri Georgievna, Daniil Markovich and Sergey Viktorovich. At the end of the year I want to say THANKS, first of all, to you - only with your support, mentoring, care and patience I was able to win my 4th gold figure skating title ⛸. And also thanks to all the people around me and the fans who have been around all year and worried about me. And traditionally, I congratulate each and everyone with the upcoming ❄ New⛄ 2020⛄ year and I want to wish everyone good health, a sports mood, and moving forward to their dreams.
