The limited edition collection (including the eyeshadow palette and lipstick created by Shiseido for Alina Zagitova's use in competition) went on sale in Japan today. The e/s palette is already sold out online in the official Shiseido webstore. In half a day. :biggrin:

Link to the webshop please? Want to look at the packaging and perhaps what else is included besides cosmetics.

The more limited and exclusive the better for preserving the image, but having it too limited (like a numbered edition with autograph) isn't good either.

How great is it that Alina has a home big enough for her entire family, two dogs and a cat, a full sized Christmas Tree, and her own room with enough space for her and Sabina to dance around and have fun :yahoo:

Good guess on my part even with a fair amount of New Year's Eve champagne in me. ;)

On a side note it's just good to know Alina is so happy. May the New Year bring her much more happiness.

I don't know what to make of this. It seems like fun but why in the world are they chest bumping? I've only ever seen guys chest bump because they have pecs you know and not... well you know.

I'm kind of hoping Alina gets bored with all these shows and wants to get back to competition. But I don't think that will happen for a few more months yet and there is a chance that she will actually like doing these shows and want to continue the right now.

Alina messaged Eteri that she is missing competitions already :) Of course it means only a little now, but it is giving us hope she truly wants to return to competitions.

where did you hear this?

i wonder if she watched RusNats. i remember as a skater watching others skate or compete made me itch for the ice so bad.

Eteri said it in one of the interviews during/after Rusnats.

Probably watched the results, as she had the shows during that time, but I bet that she saw at least the performances of her team mates.

,I think she misses competitions now but will she in six months when the money is rolling in from all the shows and she's put on another 3 or 4 lb through puberty and not having a strict diet as before? at that point life will be very good for the reigning and defending Olympic and World champion Alina Zagitova.

I think she only missed Russian Nationals because she had this big show to prepare for if she didn't have the show she would have been at Nationals. like flanker said I doubt she had the time to watch the entire competition for the ladies what she may have seen highlights of her teammates skate. If she watched Anna and Alona she may hesitate in coming back. ;) They are light years ahead of the field. I hope Alina comes back but she knows what she's facing if she does. But perhaps the rest of competition for half a year or so will energize her enough to learn new tougher jumps.

So far she is working very hard, during the week before the end of the year she did two shows per day, which meant more than 20 minutes of constant skating twice a day plus rehearsals, including jumps (she did lutzes and flips) and she is not ceasing trainings, so I doubt she would not have "strict diet" or proper work.
