I remember when she performed Black Swan during her Ice Shows in South Korea in May/June 2018.
Complete with the all the jumping passes!

That was the moment I fell in love with her. Watching her celebrating her win, holding her emotions, hugging that doll.

Exactly the same for me. And probably a lot of other fans too.

I remember when she performed Black Swan during her Ice Shows in South Korea in May/June 2018.
Complete with the all the jumping passes!

Very impressive.

It was a matter of pride for her, always will be to perform her best. By the way with a couple of kilos more than her usual... a good sign for me back then that she will not loose the jumps next season.

I'm not sure if you know that this video was shot in Japan, Niigata (probably in early 2018?).

Regardless, I'm pretty sure we'll see some actual footage very soon.

Growing up, Alina has acquired some special elegance, a unique manner, an aristocratic presentation of herself and her programmes on ice. Samokhvalov (RIA reporter) also spoke about this, commenting in insta during the GPF that even at the warm-up, Alina stood out with "a royal dignity".

Some kind of magic happens: a thin, tiny little darling outside the ice (I saw her after GPF in Moscow) turns in this short programme into a young woman who has loved, still loves and goes through a break up. And all this without undue fuss, without any hectic triviality that may appear when some want to portray anguish and suffering. This 'sin' is common not only among skaters, but also among actors. But on the ice we see a beauty who, burning up from the inside, accepts her fate with dignity. It's a real stage performance. Bravo, Alina!
