It just occurred to me that this is Alina's second birthday celebrated in quarantine. At least this time it was because she chose to

ahhh marginally belated (but not yet in my time zone), but many many many congratulations to Alina on her 19th bday! I can't believe it in some ways, the 14 year old I fell in love with now already 19, but at the same time so much happened in the mean time. Alina has already given me a lifetime of happiness

For the present and future I wish her health, happiness, success and safety. I'm amazed at how she's constantly learning new things and carving out both her future and her legacy, all the while remaining a Nice and Kind person. I don't believe this will ever change.

I was a little disappointed when most of the Zagistan Twitter accounts I follow abruptly switched their attention to Eurovision. I wasn't ready! Then I remembered how delightfully entertaining Eurovision can be.

Is it even really Alina's birthday without a 'copycat' meltdown from crazies? Oh, I forgot that's not a thing with Zagifans. But in memory of a past birthday meltdown brought to us by not fans of Alina, I bring you this. Thank you, Eurovision. -
