"DUBAI / UAE /, December 4. / TASS /. The theatrical ice show "Sleeping Beauty. The Legend of the Two Kingdoms" was held for the first time at the arena in Dubai. The event, which featured Olympic figure skating champions Tatiana Navka and Alina Zagitova, was almost sold out.
“This is a very large-scale, global show, like hockey. I am very glad that Tatyana Aleksandrovna [Navka] managed to bring the show here,” said Zagitova. “Tatyana Aleksandrovna gave me an impetus when I tried paired elements for the first time in this fairy tale. Indeed, I am a single skater, pair skating is something different for me, and it is very good that there is such an experience."
Zagitova compared the holding of ice shows in the UAE and in Japan. "In Japan, it is more developed, there are a lot of shows, more attention to it. And we gave a kind of impetus so that it could be the same here as in Japan. The audience welcomed us well and it was hot on the ice," she said.
