On a positive note, they've stopped straightening Mitch's hair. Paul & Islam had the nicest outfits of the whole group and that's damning them with faint praise. I love that Grace Kelly dress BTW but I wish this team could have the opportunity to develop a unique style and not copy others, famous or otherwise.

There wasn't a single outfit amoung all of Doris' pictures that I would want any skater I care about to wear, except the Grace Kelly dress.

Dragonlady..I agree Alex's dress is very nice , and Mitch looks good too.. I just can't figure what the program would be ... I'm not snarking , just sort of bemused...

So far LPIDC..Good scores ,looks like , for Canadian JR. teams. Bravo E/P for the 2nd highest score to A/E . Wow ! very close between B/L and B/M and between D/F and H/H. Let the log jam roll on !

Toni .. Have we transgressed ? We're only discussing the Canadian skaters ,programs , costumes etc. here ...not so much the competition at large ( that hasn't really taken off yet on the other thread, probably 'til more info comes out )..I think the JR.scores chuckm posted make a handy reference, though ... gives an idea of how those Canadian teams are doing.

Based on the photos, it looks to me like Timothy Lum has grown a bit. His height difference with Noa Bruser seems to be a little bit more than it was at Canadians (or is that just wishful thinking?). Of the other top Canadian teams here, Caelen Dalmer and Shane Firus still look like they may have a problem with height difference. Edwards/Pang and the Hasegawas are fine, of course. Bent/MacKeen look like they could both still do a lot of growing, so I think it's too early to tell with them.

I think Zhao Kai looks like he's grown a bit ( but they hadn't a big problem last year ), and I'm tempted to think Timothy Lum has grown a wee bit but their knees seem to be bent in all the photos , so it's hard to tell , I'm sort of relieved to see that Dalmer and Firus' problem at least seems about the same ...I was afraid she'd shoot up some more.

But, goodgawdamighty, what is Nicole Kuzmich wearing ?... and why ?

Presumably
1. The Jr SD is the blues
2. It's an homage to Kaitlyn Weaver's SD outfit from last year
3. Perhaps she has listened to the blues in the same seedy bar in Kodiak, Alaska, that I went to once back in 1967. It looked like she ripped the jungle cat themed fabric right off the wall there.
