Absolutely heartbroken for Alison and Saulius not qualifying to the free. I hope Alison in particular is all right, that looked like such a hard freak fall. I will miss their free dance tomorrow, my favorite of the season. I hope they can come back strong next season, and qualify a spot in Beijing

So, so sad.
I fell in love with their FD this season, what a shame we will not get to see it at Worlds.
They just have to come back strong in Beijing, it's unthinkable that they might miss another Olympics.

I'm disappointed to admit that for the first time in years, I was underwhelmed by Allison and Saulius's FD. I'd have preferred recycling one of their other programs to this (I know not everyone loved Lord and Master as much as I did, but maybe Enough of Our Machines from two years ago?) it just feels way too static and one note.

OTOH, love their RD! That was everything I expected it to be.

I've just come back from the Bolero Cup, (Sheffield) where Allison and Saulius took Silver and won the Free Dance.

I thought they looked really sharp in each programme and I really enjoyed both. The Free Dance was brilliant - it's the first time that I've really connected with their skating, but I'm a definitely a fan now! I'm so happy for Allison and Saulius to have everything they need to go to the Olympics. The cruel twist of fate that excluded them from the free dance really cast a shadow on the event for me. It almost feels like the skating gods were trying to "write" a dramatic story for them, with triumphant redemption at Skate to Milano. But that is a story I really could have done without! Now they can put all that behind them.

I've been searching the internet for a video of their Lord & Master program. I want to show it to a friend who loves creepy things. But it appears that all videos of this program are geoblocked, even though there are many videos of their other programs that are not geoblocked. This practice video from On Ice Perspectives is the only one I could find. I love it - my favourite Rhythm Dance this season. [I became a new fan of Alison and Saulius after seeing this live at the Bolero Cup.... So much of a fan that I've just bought myself a Lithuanian flag to wave at Europeans in Sheffield in a couple of weeks!]
