Alysa Liu

I kind of low key love her now.
I am sure your low key will grow quickly to its fullest scale. Alysa's honest, joyful, curious personality is only an addition to her pure love of skating. She does not skate to fulfill someone's expectations or to get a medal. And it is what makes her to be herself. Wish her all the success and truly to rich her potential.

Jackie Wong and Jean-Luc Baker really liked Alysa’s practice. They think her edges look better than before her break, and remarked “how do you take 2 years off and come back a better skater?” Obviously skating does require a lot of work to get good, but I think Alysa is an illustration of how there are no one-size-fits-all solutions with skating. Sometimes, and I’m kind of speculating here, a more mature perspective and healthy confidence and drive are worth hundreds of hours on the ice.

Of course Alysa’s 3A attempts knocked their socks off! 😍 They were speculating about what it was like for Alysa and Mia Kalin to train together, and suggesting that Mia might motivate Alysa. But I’m hoping that Alysa can be a positive influence for Mia as she transitions towards seniors.

Alysa, her skating, her emotion and her love for skating ... all are incredible and incredibly beautiful. There was not one seam or break in her SP to "Promise." Her skating was all of a piece and just the most beautiful experience. I'm overwhelmed. 😍🥰😘

Stopping by the fan fest to say that Alysa is my favorite at press conferences. She doesn't try to give the expected PC answers. I especially liked how she turned the question about having the Russian skaters there or not back on the reporter..."I don't know. Would  you have more fun if they were here?" 😄❤️

Alysa keeps getting better. What final chapter will she write for this beautiful fairytale season?

Where are Alysa's fans celebrating? I don't want anyone to rain on my parade.

I'll just say: I never, ever saw a skater have so much fun:dance3: competing for a world medal. :points: Alysa is magnificent, and she skates for all the right reasons. I just can't get over tonight!
