Tarakanova is bold, the coolest kid in town, filming the draw and showing us around the LOC headquarters and on the streets of Perm.
For those of you who have a Vive or Oculus VR headset: that experience of walking a plank sticking out over a 1000 feet void -is- really scary. Tarakanova has flown an airplane, she shouldn't be afraid of heights and vertigo.

Perhaps Tarakanova hasn't been ordered to restrain herself in the use of her social media accounts, because to me it seems the other skaters are. And perhaps for the better given the pressure and the tabloid press looking for scandal and grabbing every opportunity to create discord.

Good luck to her and the other boys and girls today and tomorrow.

Her jumps are amazing! And compared to the beginning of the season her facial expression is so much better you can see how she feels the music. So happy she was clean and finally got the scores she deserved!

Tarakanova is an athletic power skater for sure.

But I do agree her facial expressions don't help her in the subjective presentation score. Judges should know better though than to deduct her because of it.
She just doesn't seem to be the kind of girl that plasters a plastic smile on her face while skating her routine. Her joy, satisfaction and exuberance come after a successful performance, as in Snr Nats FS.

I thought so too, but girls change so much and so quickly between 13 and 15 years of age.
Anastasiya clearly belongs in the young senior ranks from now on.

I think she also has this almost imperceptible air of confident authority around her and a commanding presence, being outspoken and all. No doubt she has a very strong personality and a great sense of commitment and importance to the tasks assigned to her.

I too think she looks more womanly - her legs, for example, look stronger.
