Anastasia Tarakanova

Glad to see her PCS starting to rise to mid to high 60's which is where it should have been. Another year in juniors should creep it up to 70's. It's a shame about the ur's esp the second which was borderline.

Her PCS in senior Rus nat was 58...if I remember well. She received 66 today...interesting..

That 59 PCS was the biggest robbery I've ever seen... honestly don't those judges know if you want to lowball someone you have to be subtle? :p Everyone knows that score was BS.

Anyway! I've only watched Nastya's FS (dang time zones) and even with the fall I still loved it! She got a giant plushy too!

I hope she stays in Juniors next season otherwise I fear she'll be buried by the 3A and left unnoticed and that would be so sad!

Hello, well, I'm just coming here to spread my love for Nastya. Discovered her last year at junior russian nationals and, of course, I fell in love with her wild and intense skating. I'm really rooting for her :luv17:

Lakernik about the RJN he mentioned Nastya:

"The girls at the Russian championship had a lot of good performances. Moreover, there were performances of the adult plan. In the short program, for example, I would single out Anna Tarusina, Anastasia Tarakanova. In the arbitrary they got a little weaker, but on the whole, the impression is rather optimistic."

Has Nastya said anything about whether she’s moving up to seniors or staying in juniors next season?

I have a feeling that Nastya will be the next Pogorylaya (meaning that somehow she will stay in the scene inspite of she is not yet the favourite) . I believe she will be the one who will not lose her jumps when puberty comes and will be able to demonstrate us beautiful jumps , because it seems that the jumping technique they teach her is really solid and her jumps get enough height ( they are not that much based on speed of rotation ) . She doesnt get the PCS she deserves and she really has great passion in the ice and the picture she demonstrates in the ice , one day in the future , i believe it will be that of a passionate woman. And we miss these women in figure skating nowadays:) I really hope she transfers to senior women next year , it is time for her to go to the next level and i believe that she will be more than competitive 6 months from now.

Root for her at Russian cup final!! :luv17:

How many medals Pogorilaya has? He ha some medals ( no gold) of great competitions...;) I would like to see it from Nastya..

Interesting that Gubanova, Tarusina, Gulyakova and Vasilieva participate in the category of adults and Nastya in Juniors. I think it would be the opportunity to try a quad

All of them are older as Nastya. I would like to see a quad attemt, too!:)

On what listing is Tarakanova? She is not on this one: https://www.fsrussia.ru/results/1819/cor1819/CAT006EN.HTM which has all the 13 and 14 year olds holding KMC (Candidate Master of Sports) rank. Nor is she on the adult MC listing. AFAIK, Anastasiya is still KMC.
The FFKKR official list of skaters is obsolete by now, it has Tarakanova still listed under Sambo-70: https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://fsrussia.ru/files/docs/RUteam1819.pdf

Tarakanova is on this listing: http://uisk.rebahn.ee/international/CAT003EN.HTM, Tallinn Hotels Cup in Estonia. She is competing abroad the same weekend, good for her !!!!

Plenty of Anastasias in Tallink Hotels Cup 2019 International Competition but AT is not listed.

The only Russian ladies skaters taking part are
Nina Kabukaeva (Novices)
Anastasiia Samofalova (Juniors)
Anastasiia Kolomiets (Seniors)

I don't see her name..

Indeed, it has been removed in the latest start list. Tarakanova was still listed around 1700 hours.

Wonder what happened, visas to Estonia couldn't be the problem, nor travelling expenses.

Fanny Lindfors from Finland is listed, younger sister to Viveca?

She was indeed. I hope she's not injured since she's not competing at any competition she was planning to
