Getting a triksel or quad would make Anastasiya the power skater very competitive in technique again.

Anastasia Shabotova has landed a triple axel in warm ups and Sinitsyna has reportedly landed it and was close to competition by her own admission last spring. We'll see though

According to her video after Saransk her boots essentially broke in the six minute warmup/when she was starting the program which is why she did badly there and fell a couple times. It might be a result of that and the fact her new boots aren’t broken in/comfy for her to skate for. Alternately she may have been assigned a later stage challenger such as Golden Spin which would be a priority for her to budget to compete at or want to be at Cup of Russia stage four (though she isn’t on the start list for that but there is some leeway until the draw is published).
