It's YouTube, people thumbs down video for who knows what reason  I wouldn't read too much into it.

I guess it's easy to be mean on your computer and nobody really knows who you are and that's what's happening with YouTube and Twitter.

Am I allowed to mention an upcoming competition she's in or will i receive another warning email from the moderators?

Upcoming competition chat is fine, as long as it is about Anastasia

Thanks, I just read she's part of a very interesting lineup for 2nd stage of Cup of Russia which runs October 2nd through 6th. Such a pity I can't mention the other skaters. I will probably leave Golden Skate soon because of the new rules.

When I put upcoming competitions in the Russian mens' thread, I put it as such "Main competition: x, y, and z." You can do that. I don't discuss them though.

Pretty much yes to all of this. I like the FS but I don’t think her new coaching arrangement is doing her any favors. Is it too late to change back?

Srsly...her and Sima training together would make me a happy panda

Over many years Nastya developed a style accenting long lines and variations in speed to match musical flow, together with a unique and personal clarity in expressing musical stories through movement. She posted this after her final competition last year: https://www.instagram.com/p/BfBBf0JnRjZ/?taken-by=nastya_gubanchik Her new style is the answer to the slow motion queen. It has taken a lot of courage and hard work to make this radical change. Her motivation/goals for the change are obvious, but I will sorely miss Nastya's old style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEEzRhIBH_8

What a post. Thanks. but now that you said what she said in that video about slow motion Queen. I saw that monhs ago but didnt realize Nastya was calling herself the slow motion queen. I think she is picking up the pace this year. She has to.

After Lombardia's ladies event, I feel like Anastasia should really be given consideration for the Rostelecom host spot :slink:

Gubanova appeared in the draw today for senior ladies for the first Cup of Russia. Takes place tomorrow and Tuesday. I wonder what happens if she beats Vasilieva who is assigned to JGP #5 and #7  or if she wins beating a potential Rostelecom host spot candidate or 2

Well good luck to her :agree:
