8 hour?! Okay, when they say content, they mean it. It’s like multi-episode documentary size.

Some photos from Averbukh show.

Looks like they are publishing interview in small chunks.

Here is Mozalev’s unbendable determination.

How’s your motivation? Did your outlook on life and training change?

– yes, it changed. But motivation remained. Maximum achievement is the Olympic gold. Until I have it, I won’t rest. So, I’ll always be motivated.

–so, you are aiming for the next Olympics. Have you thought in theory how long you could skate?

– till next Olympics, for sure. Maybe even till the next one after that, the one in 2030. But, overall, 4 years minimum.

I saw this article where Mozalev describes his apartment purchase:

Do you do repairs for yourself too?
“Naturally,” said Mozalev.

Andrei could fix my house any time! 😇
He is a smart guy.

A little soccer on summer vacation ⚽

Nah, what he is saying is not that he conducts repairs DYI style. He says he is paying out of pocket for renos with his own earnings. When he got the mortgage with the prize money, his parents helped him wth the down payment, but he paid it all back, and the reporter then asks if he is paying for renos himself too (which he does).

He may be able to do some simple manual labor on his own; traditionally, Russian boys are taught to do this from childhood. But I think that after a hard day full of intense training, Andrei does not have the energy to hammer nails into walls and hang shelves. So Lariko's interpretation is absolutely correct, Andrei is talking about paying for the renos of his new apartment out of his own financial savings.

Given that he had said before that the moment he gets home he goes to lie down because he is so tired from training, I sure hope he stays away from sharp and heavy objects. Lots of men could drive nails in the wall (regrettably less than women wish for) but literally, not even a hundred at any given time can jump a 4T

It seems that in the human population the percentage of men and women capable of landing a 4F tends toward zero, so I also insist that Andrei take care to avoid unnecessary stress and dangers. And also that he not exceed the speed limit on the highway and drive carefully. In today's Alexander Galliamov stories video, a focused Andrei drives him presumably to the beach.

It's cool that guys are vacationing together, I'm fascinated by their strong friendship since their childhood.

I also think it's awesome. But they trained together a lot, so it makes sense. With next season being far less of a pressure cooker and all the arenas they'd compete in being familiar to Mozalev, maybe we'll see a 4F. But I don't want to jinx.

Everyone prob tired of me repeating it, but if he gets stable 4T and 4S, he is visibly ahead of everyone else save for Kolyada with skating skills and spins. Clean programs from Mozalev with a bit updated choreography and not middle-life-crisis brooding sailor variety... and it's gonna be a sweeter deal to be his fan. Though that flying-by-the-seat-of-his-pants part of the experience... Nope. Wouldn't miss it. I am, after all, approaching the age when I can't afford so much stress.:popcorn::rofl:

To fill out six events with no more than 2 repeats, they would have to pull out everyone and push some of the juniors into seniors. So, we'll see Mozalev vs. pretty much everyone, Gumennik, Erokhov, Yablokov, etc...

The unfortunate consequence of Mozalev's shows participation that I can't for the life of me get rid of Samodurova's earworm in Averbukh's show that they finale'd with Mozalev. I don't even like the song, but it is stupid-catchy. And gonna miss Samodurova tbh. She was so fun.

Aww, Mozalev is stepping in for Ngumanova. Knightly kid.

The situation is very unpleasant, and I have two feelings about it. On the one hand, anxiety for Andrei, for the possible consequences from RusFed. On the other hand, there is no doubt that he acted bravely and masculine in supporting his ex-girlfriend. This gives him respect as a person with principles, a man capable of empathy. We'll see how it ends.

I can say with confidence that the premiere of Andrei's telegram channel was a success, already 520 subscribers, after the weekend will be 1000, I have no doubt. Link to the channel

I feel that I will resume my call for his parents to write a book on raising kids right. 👏 He is really a great kid.

We're thinking along similar lines. I assumed that his parents should open a private school and take about 10 students that they would educate, because obviously they are the coolest teachers.
