Happy birthday to you, Evan Frank Lysacek!

It's unexpected, isn't it? Why here?

Do you remember my
post with the riddle about the 4 Olympians in 1 photo?
Yes, it was an interesting case. Really, Lysacek was giving lessons to a very young Mozalev. Some time before the Sochi Olympics (2013-2014) Evan came to St. Petersburg (in Russia) and gave a master class for young figure skaters, and little Andrei was there too.
Pictures have survived where Evan is conspicuous and Andrei is almost always hiding in the crowd of skaters left nameless, but you can still see him.
I love stories like this, when several generations of Olympians meet in one place, and no one knows about the little athletes yet that they will be Olympians. There is a kind of predetermination of sports destiny in that. I understand that if you get a group of talented kids together for a master class, figure skating since infancy, trained by strong coaches, the likelihood that a future Olympic athlete is among them is a little higher, but it's still nice to think about the jokes of fate.
