Glad to hear nothing serious has happened. Even though she's understandably disappointed she's not in GPF, it may be for the best. She can concentrate on the Nationals. And regardless of what she thinks about her chances there, I still believe she can make the podium there! She did great at that russian Challenger B, so competing home without all the hassle of traveling may be less stressful. Good luck to her!

Those mocking at devastated Anna are just heartless people with poor moral integrity. Anna, please don't fall like this any more, for it is really scary & painful to watch to the audience.

I have always hoped (and still do) that I will see the two of them sit in the K&C one day, acknowledging the fact that Anna has just won the world title with their faces so icy and frosty that the ice itself will melt with envy. I find it hilarious. But sometimes they overdo it a little. Anna is always so taken aback with the misfortunes that befell her. It probably is her greatest weakness. When she is on like today, she is definitely a world top level skater and a medal contender in any Euros or even Worlds she attends.
Anyway, here's to a clean FS and a smiling Anna at the end (Tsareva will be allowed to smile, too). :2thumbs:

I am so happy for Anna. When she is on, she is ON! Great jumps, intense step sequence, and her spins have drastically improved. An absolute stunner.

Every time people write her off she literally rises like a phoenix...I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but I'll be quite satisfied with a top 5 finish (of course, I would love her to medal). Go Anna!

:gclap::hap93:Those were all my emotions across Anna's 2 programs at Nats! Absolutely magnificect-- I'm so so happy for her to be able to finally skate clean. She looked visibly more confident here and I hope she retains that mindset going into the other big comps. ALSO, congrats on getting her first National medal!
