she didn't skated through her StSq, because she was interrupted by ashley. they almost got crashed. and it's hard to do a steps from somewhere in the middle

it was some blonde girl. if not ashley then probably laurine. not sotskova for sure, because maria is much taller. but they played sotskova's swan lake piece, after anna's music.
i guess, anna's fs has a different piece

FS practice! Two pops and two jumps with hands down but no falls, didn't get to see much of the choreo though. Video quality is p low but I love these music cuts for her. Let's just hope she can get back some of her fire by tomorrow so she can sell these programs, she's looking kind of sad right now imo

This is Anna's FanFest and we should be positive and all, but I can't help thinking it's (the podium) not going to happen for her at Skate Canada. That's alright though, as I hope she can relax a bit and come back stronger at Skate America.
That was 100% Laurine though, not Ashley. It’s a little difficult to tell from the camera angle but Laurine’s hair is shorter and curlier than Ashley’s and Ashley’s practice outfit is different in her SP video. Plus apparently Ashley wasn’t even in that practice group. No matter who it was though, that was bad form.

It's about the practices. A lot of Ladies seemed to have been in one another's way, but I would be cautious to say it's deliberate. Either way, Anna has been in this business for a while and knows she has to be aware about the other skaters. If something little like this fazes her or brings her out of her concentration then I fear she's not going to get far.

Some of the other ladies weren't looking top notch either, so we shall see. Although ideally Anna would triumph at the top of a clean field, I'll take what I can get for her right now. And either way, so long as she doesn't totally bomb there's always hope at Skate America!
