That's so incredibly beautifully put!Anna, though, is a different story. She seems so shy and reserved in real life, but when she’s performing, emotional expression seems so easy and natural to her, like she was born to be on ice rather than to live among humans. She embodies the music, and it’s as though she’s a different person on ice and off-ice. That’s one thing I really like about her. She might be shy in social situations, but on the ice she is intense, powerful, and captivating. It’s like an alter-ego, even.
She does give off the impression that she might not really understand people, or know how to interact with them so perhaps she shuts herself in. And performing is then a way for her to actually be able to express herself, and is so powerful because it allows her to release these pent up expressions...? The aura she has is very different from someone with a very extroverted personality who also is a natural performer... For instance, I am not sure how she would be able to deal with huge amounts of attention when someone like Zagitova seems to have absolutely no struggle with it. I'm a little worried about her, actually... I hope she will be able to deal with it when the time comes that she'll have far more fans and attention.
I guess I'm making it more dramatic than it is, although the introverted type still doesn't usually have such performing abilities. Not a loner, but still seems to, hmm... need to be quite comfortable with people to really interact with them, I could put it.
