Anna Shcherbakova

maybe they're planning a different dress.
tbh i like this one:scratch2:
Yeah, this program is too much like a FS to not be her FS, it even is the perfect length for a junior FS...

I don't know, I really love this dress. But maybe she has something better in store for the FS...? Is it possible Olga would be mistaken or would have been told to stay quiet? I don't think that that's very likely.

About what Olga Ryabenko said about Anna’s costume, it’s possible that Anna’s real FS costume was taking too long (maybe rhinestones or embroidery?) and wouldn’t be complete before Dreams on Ice, so Olga made her a simpler, quicker dress for the show.

But if there’s another better dress out there, that’s got to be gorgeous, because I can’t imagine a dress that would suit this program better than what Anna was wearing today!

She also posted a lot of Instagram stories to thank everyone who gave her presents. That’s a LOT of presents for someone who hasn’t even had her international competition debut yet :eeking:

It’s really good to know that so many people love her skating, and it’s great to know that she’s very thankful for them. I hope there are many good things in store for her next season.

Seems like she got many more present today than yesterday! :luv17: I guess the audience was amazed and felt the need to bring her presents today. Hopefully she'll get even more tomorrow! She might need to get another suitcase.

Wow, Anna's got a standing ovation from the Japanese audience at her first show ((: And she seems to be comfortable with English, that's really great for her future interviews and interaction with fellow skaters.

May I ask you, how did she get an invitation for the show if she hasn't competed internationally yet? Did they notice her after the video with the quad combo and decided to show their respect to her? I would be thankful if someone tells me, I am new to this fan fest, but Anna looks like an elegant and promising skaters so I'll definitely keep an eye on her (:

She was invited a year ago already, but didn't manage to come due to her injury.

I don't know why they invited her in the first place, but when she did the 4T-3T-3Lo combo over a year ago, it even got TV time in Japan so I assume that that's the initial reason.

Well, the upcoming fight between Anna, Sasha, Alyona and (I still hope) Anastasia (A-Team) in juniors... There will be (I hope not) blood, but athleticism, beauty and elegance.

Beautiful costume, elegant choreography and demanding music. Anya looked simply breathtaking.
Jumps were a bit low, but I think she might've been tired after first exciting day at the first show ever, in half darkness and on the smaller ice size, she's completely not used to.
Yeah, the skating wasn't flawless, but she compensates it with natural beauty and elegance. :)

According to twitter, jump layout:

3Lz
3F-3T
2A
3S
--
3Lz
3F-2T-2Lo
3Lz-3Lo

Good to see that she succeeded with the 3Lz-3Lo 3 times out of 4, at this time of the year! She really struggled with it last spring. Shame that the one time she missed it is when it was televised...

And of course, jumped 7 jumps at last.

I think it really her FS. and her jump layout for competitions:
4Lz 3F-3T 2A 3S // 3Lz-3Lo 3F-2T-2Lo 3Lz

Wow, she barely says anything in Russian, and I was  when she suddenly started speaking such a confident English before a crowd.

Wow, Anna in a Yukata! And what, she actually has really good English. [emoji23]

I am so impressed! Such a graceful, talented and smart young lady. She never ceases to amaze us. And I am sure she has many cards up her sleeve for the next season too, and she'll surprise us even more (cuz now, after seeing her program layout we know for sure they are preparing a 4Lz at the beginning of her LP). All this japanese experience was really productive and successful for her, and let us see new positive sides of our little fairy. [emoji173][emoji173][emoji173]

She speaks better than me. Well done, Anna!

PS I truly believe her by saying that she enjoyed her stay. We barely see some content from her and now at once she uploaded so many photos with her skating colleagues!
