Well, I liked the fact that she stood out in the last group of skaters, because two other girls wore black dresses... It sure was a big surprise but I liked the dress...

For me, I like it. It's original, the colors really suit her, and it really looks good on her. I just prefer the black one.

While Trusova and Kostornaya are ahead of Anna in their experience and know-how, I think Anna might pull off the Junior victory this year (and be the "heir apparent" to Alina and Evgenia in the long run).

Come what may, I think there is a real chance that Anna emerges as the big fan favorite out of the three.

I am afraid I am team hideous. I think the colours of the new one are weird and don‘t fit her or the music. the black one was more dramatic and underlined her mature skating.

When I saw this I suddenly saw a resemblance between her and Lady Mormont from Game of Thrones for some reason.

Personally, I don't hate the dress (although I find it has a lot going on), but I just don't love it for this program. I think the black one fit it better.

I don't mind the dress, but I too thought that the black one was better. I like this dress a bit more now than I did yesterday, though. The problem I have with it is that it has too many things hanging out, attachments etc. that sort of loses the outline of where she actually is. Especially with the arms, it feels... unnecessary.

After I watched it - I found FP looks actually MUCH better 0_0 It seems for some programs constant close ups are not very good - and cameraman in Bratislava wasn't very good with his work. Also this infamous combo with bad landing from that angle (which I assume is not far from judges panel) doesn't look as mistake at all So judges scores became somewhat more understandable

I thought the process of giving them the flag was amusing so I thought I'd share: at the ceremony a volunteer lady asked the Russian fans if they wanted to give them their flag. They said yes, and the volunteer asked to which one. They replied "To Anya!" XD So they ended up sharing it. Later at the ID ceremony they still only had one flag, this time for four people on the podium. The volunteer (jokingly) said to the fans: "Why didn't you bring a second one, you should have seen this coming!" XD

Yes, very true, in the arena, I did not notice the mistake at all, only after I watched the skate on YouTube later. So those +2 are probably from judges who didn't notice the mistake either. And yeah, the video looks to be from right behind the judges. Also I think Anna's FS dress looks much better from further away (so in the arena/in fancams like this) than in close-up.

Oh don't get me wrong, I do like it from close up too, but I think it works a bit better for viewing from the arena
