Anna Shcherbakova

No quad can compensate that deep SP problem.

And too many 2x jumps in the FP ruin the total.

She’s already doing as many triple jumps as she’s allowed to without Zayaking. Since when was 3A necessary to win? The girl’s got two 4Lz, she’s fine.

For seniors, you may see yourself, having 3A in SP is close to be mandatory to win. To win SP.

And having 3A in SP she may add it to FP as well.
Or be long below Kihira and Co.

Does it make any sense?

Yes, we know having a 3A would benefit her more than a new quad, but it’s not as though Kihira’s miles ahead (which is what you’re making it sound like). “Long below” is a bit of a stretch considering Anna has broken 150 in the FP. And who’s “and Co.” in “Kihira and Co.”? Are there more Japanese ladies who land three triple axels every time they skate?

The height on today's Quad Lutz was insane.. I really don't know who will win JGPF now that Anna has a consistent 4Lz...

TES could be 100+ if not that qlutz.
And those two 2A in row completely unnecessary.
She will need 3A soon to compete in seniors. Half a year left.
Uh, this is nonsense. Unless you mean "to compete against a clean Trusova in seniors". Those two 2As are actually necessary, because they allow her to backload a lot more triples. It's an optimal layout for repeating 4Lutz.

Not necessarily. In JGP Bratislava, Anya got 73.18. With junior PCS. If she skated this program like that in NHK trophy, for example, it would've gotten at least four points more in PCS. That would've given her the lead.

Nonsense. Quads have bigger BV than 3A. Remember Sasha's tech score over 92 at junior worlds with two quads? And in Yerevan she reached 85.27 with just one quad. Anna had tech score 85 today with a fall, so no, she is doesn't need 3A to be in the game.
