Covid was never confirmed, though I don't think it's important, pneumonia is pneumonia whatever is the cause.

Yeah, I just asked because I thought it was just pneumonia in isolation I'm glad she didn't attend CoR and fought back at Nationals then.

Reportedly, she had covid around October that ended without symptoms, but weakened her health enough to develop pneumonia in the late November.

I guess expectations are set rather high when a rough skate for Anna is one where pops a triple loop but lands 2 quads.

I think a lot of it is elevated expectations.
The bar is set so high that when it’s not cleared, it looks worse than it is.

I fell into that trap. Then realized it was still the second best score in the FS of the 6.

That‘s why I said earler this result may do more good than bad. The hype train is at another station now and she can continue to quietly do her thing.

If I’m a skater, I would prefer to win gold at nationals and be second here over the other way around.

Finally, I pulled myself together to try to describe the incredible emotions that I experienced during 3 days of competition. I think it was a real figure skating holiday⛸ And I am so glad to be a part of this celebration! Thank you to our Figure Skating Federation and @ 1tv for this! And, of course, to all athletes for their struggle and dedication! For me this was the first experience of team competition. I tried to support the guys, give them strength, while going out on the ice I received this energy in a multiple size back It was also an opportunity to get to know everyone better and feel the real team spirit! (Now I will always cheer and worry even more about the guys at all competitions ♥ ️) For this special thanks to our captain @ azagitova ♥ ️ and @ alexei.yagudin You did everything to cheer up, support and charge our Red car for victory! And here it is impossible not to remember the incredible feedback from the audience! Of course, I would like to thank my coaches for the difficult preparation passed for these competitions. We still have a lot of work ahead and new goals And in conclusion, I would like to say a huge thank you to my fans I am extremely pleased to feel your faith in me during the performance and support me reading your words! You help me to cope with any difficulties ♥ ️ These competitions were not easy for me ... And I am not nearly upset, as I did my best at the moment.
