Anna: By the way, about the photo that I posted yesterday. Even on Instagram, many wrote to me about this photo and discussed my cool hairstyle, or rather, bangs. I think that for many people, especially for girls, it is not a surprising story when you pick up scissors and decide to fix your hair yourself. But, as far as I know, people usually do it quite purposefully, with some idea in mind. And I was just minding my own business, I saw the scissors - and without a second's hesitation, took a lock of hair with my hand - and cut it off at the root. I didn’t even really interested what happened there in the end, I just continued to do my own thing.
The next morning, as usual, my mother braided my hair before training. And I think you can imagine what happened. But I chose a very interesting tactic - the tactic of denial. To all the questions “What is this? Why did you do that?" I answered that I knew nothing, did nothing and had no idea how it happened. That's such an interesting story (laughs).

This entire season has been a huge challenge for Anna. She has been criticized in the past for her "too sad" lyrical programs. And so the first version of the short program turns out to be unsuccessful, and at first the new free program was received poorly. Anna changes her short program, learns new choreography in less than a week. Then these incomprehensible falls began. Plus, it seemed to me that Tutberidze lost interest in her. It must have been very unpleasant. Unsuccessful championship of Russia, insulting articles and comments - all this at once.Just a reminder for what the World Championship is missing on right now. My new favorite program of all times. From the beginning until the end she uses her arms as much as her legs. Do you know another skater that is so dynamic? But Anna won again! And she created a new image, which hardly anyone could even think of last season. After Grenoble, I tried not to watch her performances live, it even began to seem to me that this was a bad sign. But in the Olympics, I still could not stand it and watched it in a live broadcast.
The short program is certainly a unique work of art. There are no pauses, every sound of the music works, and the pace is such that even Trusova would probably not be able to cope with it. Anna is the person who is able to exceed the most optimistic expectations, and exactly when it is needed most.
Eteri said in December that Anna needed to pass another test with copper pipes (that is, glory). But even now, after the Olympics, I do not see any signs of star fever - Anna remains the same.

It was a staggering performance that only scored 80.20. This program has everything from Anna. Great artistry hitting the musical notes with the right timing speed power finesse transitions and some Fierce Attitude from this ange! whatever next season is I hope she keeps this short program for next season. Anna will go down as one of the goats of ladies figure skating it's just a matter of what opportunity she gets now and that's out of her control.Just a reminder for what the World Championship is missing on right now. My favorite program of the season. My favorite Anna program ever. No one else could have done this, this well. The stamina, intricacy and interpretation is singular.
But hard for me to say if it's my favorite performance of the season as Anna such fantastic free skates too, especially at GP Italy and France, then Euros, and then of course at Olympics. I guess in sum: Anna had so many great performances this season, it's hard to choose!
