No, she was second to Gulyakova. But still has good chances to make nationals with a silver here.

I really want to like her, because there is so much to like (consistent, performs well). I don't know what she needs to reach the 'next level'. Focusing on edging? Flexibility? Musical phrasing? After three outings that I've seen from her this year she's been clean, and yet I'm not wowed. She seems like a nice girl too. Who is her coach again?

Sergey Davydov, from CSKA. Former skater for Belarus.
3rd stage of Russian Cup, senior event. Another great event for her. She was 2nd behind Gulyakova. She has a very good chance to qualify for the Senior Nationals but obviously she needs to medal at her 2nd Cup event also.

I think one of the best things she has going for her is her consistency - of course I'm nervous since there's only 4 spots left, but her consistency will really help her to come out on top here. Many of the other contenders are not as consistent despite having "bigger tricks" like 3Lz-3Lo. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 2A-1Lo-3F combo. Davydov is smart putting it on the 2A here - gives it the GOE scoring of the 3F
She did great at the Alpen Trophy. She scored her PB but only by about 0.3 points. In any case, she is 1st after SP.

Her layout is the same as it was at Inge Solar, I think. It's good - it maximizes her GOE by putting the -3 combos on the 2A and repeats her best jumps, flip and loop. At least she has a challenger gold, but I want her to have more golds!

I made that comment to what the graphic showed, that was nearly completely different to the real program.
