Great dance....Only a point higher than the Canadians?

In my eyes Anna and Sergey are still coming to terms with her very beautiful and long legs. They make the technical requirements of ice dance just that more demanding for them, especially step sequences and CD's. I thought it was a great performance but not an awe inspiring one. The judges got it right. Their FD however as a whole is performed at a much higher level.

I didn't say it was a inspiring one (The FD is so much better for that matter), but I still think they should be a bigger gap between them and the others. They deserved to win last year also and didn't, but I really hope nothing bad is going to happen now :)

Add me to those who like them. Ice dance hasn't been too interesting to me for a while now. However, I saw these two at World Junior Championships and they intrigue me. Can't wait to see how they do in seniors.

Interesting to note that she was born in Dubai!

Loved seeing this pair, they're arguably the best Russian dance team in years. Already with such poise, maturity and dramatic flair at the junior level!

I hope they will be have two great dances next year. I will be interesting seeing them do a valse

im pretty ignorant but what our contry losing a spot in dance that was so PRed in the media today will mean for their chances.
Will they be able to take part in GP series??? If the first 2 spots are taken by I/Z & S/B

Pretty sure YM are guaranteed at least one GP spot for being JWCs. I think most likely they'll end up with 2.

I doubt they will not have two GP slots. But they are Kustavora's no 2...so I don't think the FED will send two of her couples to Worlds :(

thanks a lot for the answers guys
Cant wait to see them at wahtever competitions they WILL get sent to
They have sucha moviestar quality imo
I know I know its shallow

They are down for Skate America as well :)

It looks like they worked on their basic skills a lot, they improved. Big guys now, hopefully they're already ready to be on podium at Nationals.

So who do you think will be top 3 at Russian Nationals? There are a lot of couples in contention for those 3 spots.
Bobrova& Soloviev, Ilinykh& Zhiganshin, Monko & Khaliavin, Yanovskaya & Mozgov, Stepanova & Bukin, or Sinitsina & Katsalapov?
