Anna Yanovskaya & Sergey Mozgov

So who do you think will be top 3 at Russian Nationals? There are a lot of couples in contention for those 3 spots.
Bobrova& Soloviev, Ilinykh& Zhiganshin, Monko & Khaliavin, Yanovskaya & Mozgov, Stepanova & Bukin, or Sinitsina & Katsalapov?

I think Bobrova/Soloviev, Ilinykh/Zhiganshin and Stepanova/Bukin. Hopefully in this order, at least the first two teams  Internal politics will not allow Yanovskaya/Mozgov to be on podium this season, I'm pretty sure of it. The only chance they have is if international judges will appreciate them at their GP events.
Sinitsina/Katsalapov are dark horses, I have no idea what to expect of them, but I don't think they will be unprepared techincally as they were in the last season. And judges seemed to like them and give them pretty high PCS even with technical mistakes.
What do you think?

I always find it hard to predict Nationals for any country, but I prefer Bobrova & Soloviev's programs so far to all the rest, but after that, I don't see I&Z left off the podium because they won last year. However, neither of their programs seem ready to me just yet. And I found the change between the two parts of the SD very jarring, which distracts me from giving a fair assessment. Of the other contenders, I could not even hazard a guess at this time.

I have no godly idea who will be on the podium at Nationals at this point, though I do suspect B/S and I/Z will go first and second in some order. I did thoroughly enjoy Y/M's programs this past weekend, especially the short. They always bored me a bit as juniors but I see a lot of growth since last year. I do think they have the potential to be contenders in the coming years.

They decided to play it safe this year, i think that their full potential will be shown next season.

I really hope they go will go to Euros...but of course S/B will be there...Anyway, I really like their SD and also the FD except the last part which is just strange (maybe they will change it?)

If I had to hazard a guess, I would say Russian Nationals is BS, IZ (not sure the order of those two) and SB, but I would love to see YM in place of SB. I think YM are better, but since this is their first year in seniors, we'll see. YM have some work to do on their FD (so do they all) and SB are just blah... we'll see

They're going to skate at Samara Russian Cup event tomorrow. I'm planning to go and see them, and maybe make a video! I'm so pumped

They withdrew from competition. Hopefully everything is alright :(

I hope Anna has fully recovered from her back injury at test skates. I can't wait for them to compete at Skate America. That competition is looking better than I expected.

I've heard Anna's okay now, and they're training at full force now. Hopefully it's true.
