Her facial expression was amazing as always. She looks like an actress when she performs her program. I really enjoyed her SP.

Ashley looked like she didn't want to skate her programme today, and she loves performing no matter what.She said something about that in kiss&cry, but I couldn't hear it all.She didn't perform the transitions but I am happy she didn't totally give up and tried to hit the jumps.

Congratulations, Ashley for making the GPF! You deserve to be there, you're at the very top of the World Ladies figure skaters, and you deserve to enjoy every one of your performances along the way throughout the season.

All the best to Ashley for the FS at GPF. I'm so proud of her for continuing to skate her program, performing it so musically and selling it earlier today. Ashley is just magnetic and compelling. I love all those things about her!

Every time that things seem impossible for her, Ashley proves herself to be the hero that she is. Skating her program and enjoying it, loving skating and loving having this chance to compete, is valiant.

In a way, I think what Ashley did this year was even more impressive than last year's GPF. It's a stronger field this year.

Words can not describe how happy I am for you, and how proud I am as your fan.It is such a shame that a skater who barely completes 2 rotations on air is given full credit for her jumps and a skater who is sloopy at almost her every element, with a cheesy program and a fall earns only 3 points lower PCS than you.A couple of years later I will not remember these stupid judging incidents, but your greatest comeback, competitiveness and fight will not be forgotten forever and it will put a smile on my face everytime when I think of it.

Now it is time to work harder to win that 4th national title and world medal.

I think it reflects so well that sometimes we all (even strong-willed, spirited women like Ashley) need someone to remind us of our own words and what we know we value, but may have momentarily forgotten, in a moment of doubt. I feel that Ashley's vulnerability is one of her great strengths, and it shows in her skating.
