I remember that costume. It actually looked really good on the ice, especially when he jumped.

I agree with Daisuke La Strada, Abbott, and Rippon (his costume of this year remembered me of Ilia Kulik's liebestraum).
Lambiel also was often very elegant.

One of the worst (or funniest, however you see it) could be Ilya Kulik's 'cow' costume worn at the 1998 Nagano Olympics.

Two of the best (IMHO) men's costumes were the military outfits worn by Brian Boitano's (blue) and Brian Orser's (red) at the 1988 Calgary Olympics.

In my opinion Evan Lysacek is generally good with costumes.
I don't know why people hate his "monochromatic" preference especially the 2010 olympic season's costumes. I don't care that Vera Wang did them or whatever - but they are miles away from the tackiness and whim this sport is often associated with. There's drama, theatricality, clean line, good fit...he looks good in them. unlike other men who try to appropriate suitvests...

I agree with you about Evan. He tends to wear costumes that are dramatic yet restrained. This is one aspect of skating where his height is an advantage; generally in skating it's easier to be compact.
