i know he was tired but i was glad that he attended WTT because he seemed to have a lot of fun and he was smiling a lot

Boyang is one of these skaters that are made for events like this. He is such a joyous, energetic, adorable young man. It's always great to see when that comes through in his skating, and it's just as great to see in situations like at WTT here :luv17:

boyang is an absolute delight! i love how bright and joyous he is! his positive energy really comes through in his performances and i think he's improving a lot with every season. i always smile at his performances and i'm just so grateful to have skaters like him who radiate so much positive energy.

i think team events like WTT are just wonderful for him because he gets to really showcase his bright self. i really look forward to seeing more of boyang and i hope he continues to bring out exciting performances like he has this season. i can't wait to see him at olympics and i hope he does well! i wanna see him on that podium!

Is Boyang keeping his programs for next year. In Feb I think he said he was keeping both. In the small medal ceremony he said he woulld try something new. But then in a recent interview he said he was keeping spiderman but making changes to his Fs. Does anybody know? Personally I want to see 2 new programs even though I do love Spiderman.

^^^Holy moly! That is one HUGE piece of cake! Just a little post-season indulgence! I found the cake escapade at around the one hour mark. I was getting dizzy from all the movement of the camera. Worth watching though -- Spidey Boyang is as entertaining as always!

eta. He hurried with two big bites like he didn't want to be caught. And then he started eating again while Boyang was returning and Boynang just picked up the chopsticks and continued like they were supposed to share the cake.

Today I took some time to watch Boyang's stream (really, only recommended for hardcore fans ) and here're some funny scenes:

- originally Yang Jin was the team captain, but when he saw Russia, USA, Canada, Japan all had female team captains, he got intimidated! You can hear him exclaiming in the background: They're all female! They're all female! What am I supposed to do up there? So in the end, Peng went to the front instead of him

- When the top three highest scores in the men's category was called out, Boyang's English was not good enough to understand it. He just saw Shoma and Nathan up there and though maybe he'd be next, so he stood up and bottomed up his jacket. Then Hanyu was called and you could hear his neighbor say: Hey, it's not you! So Boyang sat down and unbuttoned his jacket again. Then all men were asked to rise. Boyang looking around seeing all the other rose, stood up again and bottomed up his jacket for the third time, saying he got shocked big for a brief moment.
- A little later, at the season's best awards, Boyang sits there and says, I don't think they're going to call me out. They're calling the whole team, aren't they? and Just in this moment, the announcers says: Boyang Jin! So Boyang stood up and bottomed up his jacket as he went to the front for like the tenth time this evening
- Boyang was worrying that there'd no chicken wings at the buffet ...
- Yang Jing did not only ate part of Boyang's cake, but he took his plate with noodles (I think) away and Boyang complained: I've not finished eating and you already took my plate away!:angry1:
- his fans wanted to see handsome guys, aka Hanyu and the handsome Chinese ice dancer xinyu Liu, but Boyang photobombed and asked, who is the most handsome, eh? Who is the most handsome? And if anyone dares to say I'm not handsome, I'll stop the live streaming!
- Zijun took at photo of the Chinese team table and Boyang was grimacing on it and wanted to see that picture, she answers: You look very ugly on it! but didn't show him the photo. Boyang then mumbles something, took a big bite of his fried chicken, nostrils flaring with played anger, his eyes insane

Thank you for sharing. I had a big smile all the time I was reading your delightful post, and your emoticons are spot on.

I don't think anyone (Zijun too) will seriously dispute Boyang's handsomeness; he pretty much holds his own ranged against Yuzuru and Xinyu Liu or anyone for that matter.

I am liking him more and more the more I know about him--his great attitude and humility, his humor and overall personality. His quad lutz, Yuzuru's triple axel, Patrick's quad toe are for me the most beautiful jumps in FS.
