"Welcome to the Pleasuredome" especially is wrong for Han Yan, but seems perfect for Boyang.

EDIT: Now that I have linked the correct video, no, nothing like "Welcome to the Pleasuredome" for anyone please :rofl: That's not crack, that's crystal meth. And not from a good dealer.
 
I wonder why out of all the choreographers outside of Lori, the Chinese fed would choose Browning.
I love 'super Javi' though. 😉

But Browning chooses the comedic route(which he most likely will), I doubt anyone would see Boyang maturing from his use and reliance on comedic appeal. Hopefully, he would get a serious long program this season.

If it's a competitive program, then I have faith here. He's done some pretty good work. The music does have a comedic appeal, but not always, and actually kind of reminds me of La Strada. It's also possible for him to use more music from that suite, not just that one movement. It could be a very complex program. It's more charming than funny to me. Very Disney, very Tom and Jerry (fairly sure it was used there!). IDK, he's in safe hands, though it's true I hope the other program is something different entirely.

I hope he chooses the other music himself again. CTHD was a good choice he made for himself.

I doubt the work on competitive programs will begin till the rules are announced. I think he went to Lori for an EX to perform at The Ice.

I hope they dont put him through the Javier route of comedic programs. I was kinda hoping he would follow more of the CTHD style of program, slightly lyrical. I'm sure Boyang can attempt more lyrical programs given how well his CTHD worked out. Also the music you hear in the video is the one Kurt Browning used in 1988 when he landed the first quad. I doubt he is doing the choreo, probably just helping Lori out to bring back a piece of music he's very familar with

That program of Kurt's isn't comedic, so here's hoping. Maybe he isn't choreographing, but I sure hope he is more involved than just doing the music cuts.

I agree, though I wouldn't mind him keeping it for *some* programs, diversity is amazing after all! Most of all, I hope he gets to be involved in the music choices, I think it was really visible during CTHD how much he liked it :)

Basically, it seems as Boyang has been working with a large group of people in preparation of the new season's program.
David Wilson was there but he choreographed for Zhang He.

Awww.. I was hoping Kurt did one of the competitive programs. No mention of Toronto and BOrser so I took it upon myself to welcome him to Toronto.. hee hee

He did mention it was two styles of programs so I suppose it's going to be one serious one and another comedic.

Also he worked with Tracey Robertson Hanford who is apparently a 'nlade specialist'. I'm so excited!!

One month's choreography and training are drawing to a close. Thanks to the China Figure Skating Association for giving me the opportunity to prepare for the new season in Canada. Thanks to Lori Nicole for meticulously orchestrating 2 different programs. ❤️ I would like to thank Kurt Browning for participating in the programming of my program. I also arranged a performance program for me. Thank Traccey Robertson-Hanford for guiding my footwork and taxiing technology. Thanks to Lenore Kay for editing the music for the new program. Thanks to Icefield Manager Bob for providing the venue. Thanks to Master Randy for his hard work every day. In this month, we have made great progress, and we are inseparable from the help of all of you. Finally, I would like to thank my two coaches for their hard-working companions (full-time) who look forward to the new season. Surprise

Boyang is being cheeky so I guess we wouldn't know the music until the new season or at least until The Ice. 😂
