Congratulations to Boyang!! Not only were his jumps there, but in my opinion his basic skating has gotten so much better since last season. He still may not have the most refined footwork, but I never thought during his free that a spot looked "empty," and he really had the performance skills to back himself up! He's got such a nice personality and I love that this program lets it shine through, especially in the middle part. Coming off of an injury, he really couldn't have put down a more convincing pre-olympic performance. The games just got even more exciting! Go Boyang!!

I’m so impressed with his growth as a performer over the past couple of years. Performance quality is really important to me, and I found his skate absolutely mesmerizing as he alternated between laying down those jumps and having fun with the footwork. Kudos!

That is super funny! It is this jovial, relaxed, funny, comedic, unbashful personality of his that make you like him so much. This personality , as one can see, also carries into his performances and Lori Nichol has done a superb job with his programs. I think it is what is going to keep him mentally steady for tonight's SP and the coming FS. I am confident with our Boyangman. His opening facial expressions remind me of Michelle Kwan's - confident & steady, in full control.
