Boyang Jin

I think Boyang will improve his skating skills more and more.We should believe in him, this young boy showed his best at every key moment.Gratulations Boyang!

I feel sad for Boyang but still proud at the same time. Congratulations still and continue improving on your artistry!!!

Dropping in to say me and my family were cheering hard for Boyang to Medal. We thought he deserved it. And then got confused because so did 3 other athletes :(. I would have made Boyang a perfect tie with Javi or Shoma so that there could have been space on the podium for him. We yelled with joy when he was on the top of the leader board after his performance. He's so wonderful.
Gooo Boyang, keep stunning the world with your skating.

I've always thought that when Yuzuru retires I'll also be done with FS, but now even if he retires from competitive skating (sooner or later), I think I'm gonna stick around for Boyang Jin. I think he has sooo much potential and can do much more. It's nice to see how he's improved thus far and how he will improve from here on. I'm also cheering for him.:hap10:

Boyang will be on the podium in 2022 in Beijing. It will be fun to see how he has evolved by that time. FS commentary on him "He is fun, charming, almost a dainty skater. That was a stunning 4Lz, probably the best we have seen from him all season". I think those were pressure tears when he was in the Kiss and Cry. Hard to believe he'll be an old man of 24 when we see him in Beijing. Stay healthy, Boyang!

Congrats Boyang on two solid performances! I'll be rooting for a third world medal for you at Worlds! :)

100%
Since Yuzu is probably not going, my whole viewing group will cheer undivided for Boyang.
We were cheering pretty hard for him while watching the Olympics, and this was the most bittersweet note for an otherwise really great day of skating. That he should skate so well and be so deserving of a medal, but not getting one.

I really wanted him to grab a medal! I don’t think the judges got it wrong or anything but I just like him and really wanted him to get a medal. He’s developed a lot in his ability of showing us his programs and all the in between stuff. He is a super talented kid who will have a real shot at a podium at the next winter games.

I’ve always liked him but now I like him even a little more ;)

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Boyang’s FS at the Olys - it was great! I was really hoping for a medal for him and am sad it didn’t happen. He has really improved so much - he’s always been an amazing jumper and a strong competitor, and you could always tell he was musical, but he’s a much more complete skater now. I love that he’s worked so hard on his SS and expression in the past couple of years. Hoping he does great at Worlds!

Oh my gosh if I couldn't LOVE HIM more....

Anyway guys, so I was at the last .5 of a 5 mile run this morning and I'm feeling a bit exhausted and wanting it to be over and then all of a sudden Cantina pops in my head and then I see Boyang smiling and doing his cute choreographed step sequence and I was like "I got this! If Boyang can smile after doing quads, I can get through this last part." Then I sprinted!

Boyang's always an inspiration! :)

It's a good thing that Boyang managed to get 4th place instead of 5th because the top 4 are automatically invited to the gala.:yes2: The world will get to see Boyangman!

I need to add in my appreciation for this young man here, if not for anything but posterity! He got overshadowed by the podium yesterday but him placing 4th broke my heart, however this is a talented young one who KNOWS what he needs to work on while excelling at other things, so his future is beaming bright and I for one can't wait to witness it. I hope he'll look back on this better later, he went to his first Olympics and placed 4th, that's actually a great result even if it's bittersweet.

Had a busy couple of days. Only just caught up with the results. Haven't watched the top 4 of Men's FS yet. The above twitter picture of Boyang crying just make my heart break in a hundred pieces, not like I am not heart broken for him already for that 4th place finish. Oh, Boyang, 4th place finish is cruel. Just know that your fans are hurting for you, you are not alone.

Could someone here kindly give a briefly description of Boyang's FS. I haven't got the courage to watch from my video recorder at the moment, too heart broken. Thanking you in advance.
