Boyang Jin

All the best for him. It would be great to dee lots of glorious skaters in the upcoming new season.

If it's true that Boyang joins TCC, Brian can prepare to lose the poor rest of his few hairs
Boyang and Yuzu together in practice must be like escalation in the kindergarden :laugh2:

Ha! I think it will be a lot of fun for them! But they’re very focused and smart athletes. Just like Yuzu and Javi learned a lot with each other Yuzuru will pay attention to Boyang and try to learn from him whatever he can and vice versa. ;)

Well that is just so delightfully extra. Boyang is one of those people that when he's happy, you can't help but be happy with him, and that's my favorite thing about watching him perform (or do anything really).

I love that sense of humour and trolling ;D

Also, I believe him when he puts in that doge emoji in his messages. He's replicated that expression in a couple of his pics.

With all the rumors and speculations surrounding the Chinese fed, I will need Boyang to be physically present at TCC to be sure.

It makes most sense to send him to Orser. I would assume the temporary coaching might be a test run to see if they can switch Iver permanently.

China will want Boyang for gold on home turf in 2022. Boyang is currently stagnating, and he will be facing increasingly heavy pressure, so best thing is for him to train overseas with a coach that has had successful experience coaching skaters who've borne national hopes.

Cross fingers with us. :P

Boyang is now Sanya training with the rest of the national team. So I suppose he's not going Orser immediately.

Was that Yang Jin sitting with him?

Yes that's Yang Jin. It's supposed to be a summer training camp with pairs skaters in Sanya, what's Boyang doing there?

Last year they sent Shi/Han directly to Canada after the worlds and had Boyang waited for another month or so, this year with Sui still recovering from her injuries, I thought they would want to start with him first. Maybe still negotiating terms with Orser?

How is Boyang stagnating? Adding more quads is not the only way to improve, and his SS, PE and IN have improved by miles

Regarding the TCC switch, I really don't think a permanent switch is in the cards right now. TCC has Yuzu, Cha, Gogolev and Orzel. I'd be very surprised if they were willing to take him. Summer camps are still amazing, but they likely won't happen tomorrow, we'll need patience
