What about making it a 3 judges and 3 judges panel(s) as well. Would effect the scores but I think that could have some "agreeable" (????) compensation.....maybe....

I see Joubert as a handsome looking guy, but he lacks charisma in my opinion. As a skater he is wooden and I don´t see anything manly in that. I have always prefered male skaters who give me the impression that they are feeling the music. Mimicking or other teatrics do not impress me one bit, because I cannot help seeing how certain skaters are using them to hide the fact how little they can feel any music, LOL.

I am not trying to be catty, but Ladskater, have you ever felt any "warmth" from a non-Canadian skater? The only posts I have seen over the years from you are the ones in praise of the Canadian skaters only.

I am not how anyone can be left "cold" after that lovely shot of Brian dressing up for his LP at the GP Paris

I wish he wouldn't keep his upper body so stiff, thinking it makes him look more manly. He really has the potential to combine his power with more expressiveness.

Brian coming into his own

Well...I think Joubert has come a long way artistically this season after working with Kurt Browning over the summer. I like the way that Brian is using his upper body in a more artistically expressive way. I like the improvement in the precision in his footwork and spins. I like the choreography that Kurt has given him and I like the way that Brian performs the choreography.

Brian looks so much freer than he ever has before with his old Yagudin-clone style. I think that Brian is finally finding his own style and coming into his own as an artist. I am loving his skating this season.

Now, if he would just dump that trite-Morosov 007 SP for a good Kurt Browning SP, I would be totally happy.

... A possible solution would be to do away with the technical specialist and give that function over to the first panel of judges. So, for instance, in a controversial case like Lambiel's triple Axel, each judge would judge what he saw, rather than having the judges' opinions automatically overruled by the tech specialist.

I think that is a great idea. I really don't like the fact that the tech panel are often known long before the event (even if it is not always known who will be the specialist and who will be the assistant), so anyone who wants to "fix" the games will know who to "contact".

Undulating(sp) his pectoral muscles would get the upper body movements and it might get him a part in a movie! I don't recall any of the photos of his Pecs. Should Arnold worry?
