Brian's triple flips???

^ This would require a change in the rules. Under current rules, if the technical specialist calls wrong edge, the judges must give negative GOE regardless of other factors.

So in this sense, a point is automatically deduced. Then the judges can give even more negative GOE if they want. But they can't give 0 or positive GOE. (Once in a while a judge makes an error on this rule. For instance, Mao Asada got a +1 GOE on her triple flutz from one judge. This is a judging error, however -- possibly a keying error.)

Automatic penalties should remain for faulty jumps. Once a jump has been executed without faults the basic value is sufficient. To add on for some genetic ability should be reflected in the PCS scores.

Brian is an exceptional jumper. His flip is the best, even compared with Plush. I didn't notice any lip but one has to accept the Tech Panel. over and out.

Tell that to the to the three judges who gave him 0 on his first triple flip, and then of those three who also gave him 0 on the second flip. If that's the rule the computer should not allow a judge to enter anything but a - GOE. Clearly a mistake has occurred by three judges. What happens to them now?
