Can Anyone Explain the Scores of Emily?

I thought Flatt was old enough. Maybe Bebe has another chance to step it up next year.

If Emily stays around maybe she should let Mark Mitchell choreograph her long program next year. I thought he did a great job with her SP. It seemed to go over really well wherever she skated. I don't think David Wilson's choreography worked for Emily. I also think she should also find another dress designer. Her dresses weren't ugly but they just did nothing to flatter her curves. JMO

Emily, imo, has thick thighs which give her an Amazon look. I think that is a drawback for her.

Also the family is very much oriented in academics and I think she just may bow out and concentrate on studies. If she stays, it will be a battle with Kimmie for gold at Nats and facing not only Bebe but Nagasu and Chang, although the latter two will not be eligible for Worlds. If the USFS picks her for Worlds (I do not think she will be on the Nats podium) she still faces the 'usual suspects' from Japan and Korea.

It's Emily's life and she makes the decision for her future.
