I saw on this link http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071025/SPORTS17/710250415/1066 that Detroit is one of the candidates for 2010 Nats. Who are the others? The article didn't mention any others.

I have only heard rumors about Detroit as well. I haven't heard about any other cities.
I would be insanely happy with a Detroit nationals. Im outside of Detroit a bit, so I'm within good distance without being unsafe. But, Detroit really is changing towards the positive, and are making efforts to improve their reputation. Not to mention, this could be the begining of other types of bids....they took second for two olympic bids...
And. Their last nationals didnt have a ladies title holder (it was revoked from Harding) so. Give it to em!
