She had to quit because she had a lot of injuries and couldn't jump anymore. She looks a lot like Alissa, pretty, but is taller with a stronger, more athletic build and hair that's a lighter brown/dirty blonde. I don't think she was ever as good as Alissa though even before she got injured

Amber Czisny in 2005. I believe that she tried ice dance but could not find a suitable partner. I am pretty sure that she is still a member of the Detroit skating club, does some coaching anbd takes part in varuious events.

Alissa went to Bowling Green not University of Michigan. I'm not sure where Amber went, but I thought it was Bowling Green too

I think Alissa's dress is a little darker... certainly looks it on TV. Alissa loves those short skirts I wonder why she never choses a longer one, Yuna's dresses this season have fairly long skirts as did all of Kimmie's dresses, I think the longer skirts are prettier and much more grown up

OT: Amber was a more consistent jumper than her sister - Everything was rotated consistently and there were fewer falls. Her final straw was an issue with her foot that she couldn't get healed.

On NBC when they covered SC they didn't even show Caroline's scores, just said that they were well below what she needed to medal. That 76 for the FS was pretty embarassing, I feel bad for Caroline. I'm sure she's doing fine though, the reporters probably don't want to say anything now just in case she has a comeback at nationals and winds

We will probably get some news as Nationals approaches. She had a public Twitter page, but then she protected it after an incident back in June.
Somebody mentioned she is on Facebook also.

No twitter updates, but on Facebook Caroline said she had a major haircut (16 inches plus additional trimming), so expect a very different look soon -- though perhaps not in her skating look, since she always had her hair up in a bun anyway.

I saw her Oly photoshoot and she had very LOOONG hair. So I guess it would just be normal length now.

Maybe she is following Mirai's lead who got a very cute and stylish look early last summer. Althogh you probably won't see much diffenece in competition, sometimes changing your look can help her confidence and think of herself as a young lady, not a overgrown girl.

Caroline and Mirai have both grown up a lot this year which is maybe why its been a tough season for both of them. I love Mirai's hair it's so cute. She still seems kinda uncomfortable with herself though, don't know why because she's really pretty.
