Coaches' Corner

That's the name (I was too lazy to type it out), what's his deal?

Here's the article: https://m.sports.ru/figure-skating/...nut-tvoj-neblagodarnyj-poganyj-rot-xoreo.html

I'm thoroughly confused by the juxtaposition of the Christmas/New Year greeting at the bottom with the "Grrr I'll take you down!" rant at the top 😳
That's the dance teacher. Jelezo81 in insta.

He talks about a fight in a "ring". Sadly, that does not sound like jousting. And I was getting my hopes up. 😒

Doesn't the Christmas/New Year season in Russia last through January 14th? He's just keeping it festive. 🥳 It would also appear that Dudakov's birthday party was quite the event.
:hb: 🍻🥃🍾🍷🍸

Time for Eteri to head home from Miami and delete someone's social media accounts. 🙃

Aliona could have supplied the horses!

In all seriousness though, this is not the best advertisement for figure skating, I know they say never read the comments, but I did and it seems there's 3 reactions.

This is a circus, shameful day for skating
Zheleznyakov is a nut, but who doesn't want to punch Plushy in the face
Yana will sell tickets and make money out of this

That website is very strange....every little thing related to a figure skater is on there, even when it's not related to skating. Is it a reputable site or what?

They can be the next Nancy and Tonya.

Layshev does not approve, :drama:

Time for Zheleznyakov to rethink his life choices. Or start Sambo training.

To be frank all three sound reasonable. :)

Actually, ever since his calling Sasha out for being a "traitor", I saw Zheleznyakov as not much more than what he has just proven to be, indeed.

figure skating in the US in the 90s cashed in big on that situation.

Too bad, this was turning into quite the entertaining circus.

It was. For what it's worth Yana and Plush have done their part to keep it going by refusing to accept his apology unless he contacts them personally to deliver it. According to Plush - 'he has my phone number'. I wonder how that could be since Plush said he didn't even know who he was when all this started up months ago. :scratch2:

I'm not holding my breath for any further drama to develop. I think it's for the best. 'Zheleznyakov' is very hard (for me) to spell correctly and doesn't lend itself to a cute nickname or abbreviation.

'Jelly'?
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted :D

Oh the gall of them! Imagine wanting a personal apology from the guy who threaten to smash his face in.

That Plushenko, it's like he thinks he's an actual human being or something. When will he ever learn, you're scum Plushenko, sum!

He got an apology. Jelly (thanks, Flying Feijoa!) posted it publicly on VK. Same social media he used to post his original tantrum. Since his tirade was public it's only right that his apology should be public as well. I guess if Jelly really wants a Christmas card next year he should follow up with a phone call. :drama:

In my opinion, neither Plush nor Yana is obligated to accept his apology no matter how he conveyed it.

It's just curious that Plush originally said he didn't know who this guy was when Jelly shot off his mouth a few months ago. Now it's - 'he has my number'. Really? Maybe he just meant that Jelly could look up the number to the new Angels of Plushenko skating rink and leave his apology on a voicemail.

Yeah one on social media, Zheleznyakov probably doesn't even mean it. I wouldn't be the least surprised if someone else wrote it for him and he's still in his choreography studio imaging beating the crap out of Plushy.

He should have to post a video of himself apologising.

Good and they shouldn't, Zheleznyakov is a repeat offender what he said about Sasha T when she went to the Academy what an absolute toad.

I'm not sure why it was fun? I like to think I have a good sense of humour, but this wasn't funny at all. This guy literally threatened Plushy with bodily harm, he lives in the same city and knows where Plushy lives. He could have easily Tonya Harding-ed Plushy.

It'd be funny if Zheleznyakov said "Hey, I challenge you to a dance-off!" But he didn't.

Most people would be fired for saying what he said.

Yana also said that they should fight no matter what, even if they make it up between each other, and that Evgeniy has already started preparing for a fight :D She’s a supportive wife, that’s for sure!

The phone number part is quite hilarious. She actually repeated that she has no idea how the guy looks in that interview, but then said he has their phone numbers a few sentences later... didn’t she also say last year she researched him and that he worked for Bilan (her singer) as a back up dancer? Anyways... She often makes that kind of a mistake. Last year she was on a show where she was supposed to debate and talk to some people, who apparently dislike her Instagram, and in the individual interview portion of the show she said that she has no idea who’s about to come to talk to her that day, yet during the debate she slipped and said that she’s been doing research about them before the show :D

Only Plushy could get threatened with bodily harm and end up being the bad guy.

When does Zheleznyakov get his award for services to figure skating?

(Why shouldn't Yana research this creep? I'd call that intelligent, but whatever)

Anonymoose, I find a big difference between publicly inviting someone to a duel and threatening or stalking or actually beating them in the dark. These actions would require two completely different people with very different personalities. So, I think Zheleznikov is no real danger for Plushchenko.

Like in any social media rant, it is the public finding rudeness hilariuos and applauding it as "funny" that encourages this very rudeness and adds to the rude actions getting more often and even more rude.
