It's hard to believe that the USA was once the powerhouse of ladies' figure skating. Ugh!

Oh no, Alissa, no! I was rooting for her. Such a talented girl, but such a weak foundation.

I'm not an expert, but from the few clips we've seen, the ice does look rather wet and slippery to me.

Caroline is skating right after Yu-Na! I hope she's got nerves of steel. I predict another breakdown by Carolina, resulting in: 1) Yu-Na 2) Caroline 3) Carolina.

Poor Susanna

After the short program she said in a Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat that she has had some sort of back problems and was not able to train properly during the last weeks before the competition.

I just hope her back is ok now and she will have a possibility to train properly for the NHK Trophy.
