Well, as I've said before in regard to this subject... hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Doesn't matter if said woman posseses a gold medal or not.

Although in Hollywood of late, it seems the revenge-du-jour is the secretly released videotape (David Hasselhoff's drunken escapade) or secretly released voice mail (Alec Baldwin's rant). When will the skating world catch up? The old "he-said, she-said" is just so 5 minutes ago, LOL.

Well said, but the skating world is bent on keeping its image despite what happened in SLC. Secrecy is the thing.

You're right. And it's sort of too bad, because the storylines of lust and betrayal are the stuff of Shakespeare. There is truly some fascinating tragedies occuring on an almost weekly basis in this sport...and they are all kept either completely off, or just on the edges, of the radar. So that I don't get sued, I think I'll just have to put the really juicy, lurid and downright treacherous stories in a book of 'fiction', lol. With one of those disclaimers that "Any resemblance to actual figure skaters, agents and coachs, alive or dead, is PURELY coincidental".
