I was trying to edit my post and merge two back to back posts of my (which I shouldn't make), but I couldn't. Every time I log in to do it, it shows a message to ask me to refresh the page and try again. When I refreshed the page, it showed that I didn't log in. But I did not log out. It started to happen like this ever since December of last year which is about a month. I tried very fast, to do it in one second or so, to edit it, if I was lucky, which was about 5% of the times, I could edit. Otherwise, I couldn't because it kept log me out when I did. Is it my computer's problem or there is some other reason? Thanks!

Jenny

No,:) I didn't explain it well. I wanted to cut the second post then paste it into the first one. Actually, there is no use. The mods have to do some work for me. Sorry. I'll try to remember to combine them from now on. I remembered that Toni did a lot of works to merge many posts not long ago.

By the way, I have no problem posting. I only need to log in again (I did not log out while I was writing though.) after my writing. It's been like this ever since I registered on the GS.

The problem is when I edit my post, most of the time, I couldn't. I kept trying and trying. Yes, this time, I did it. Most of the time when I click the word edit on the right bottom of the post, it gave me a page with the word "Save" under the editing box. If I am lucky to get into the page with the word"Save Changes" under the editing box after I click the right bottom of the post, I will be able to save it and edit it successfully. How come it gave me different page when I did the same thing?

it's okay for it to happen once in a while ;) it just makes it easier for those of us stuck with dial up... :)

As for the problem, I'm not sure how to fix it, I'm sure Mathman will be in here to figure it out

Now, I seemed to have found a way. I log in, then click the refresh botton very soon. Immidiately after clicking the refresh botton, I scroll down to my post for which I wanted to edit, at the second the edit botton appears on the post, I click the edit botton. It will lead me to the correct page and I can edit the post successfully. I know it sounds silly and stupid. It wasn't like this before. It is the only way that I found works for me right now. Don't know why? Hardware? Software?

Since no body has the similar problem as I have here, I assume that it's my hardware unsteady.
