I may be off by a day or two, but is it 96 days? That will be my first live FS competition ever, so I'm already getting jazzed!! Hope to meet some of you there!!

I've only had the opportunity once before to witness a World Sports Team be selected. It was the 2004 Canadian World team for the dog sport of Schutzhund. It was a very cool experience - it made us (me and hubby) realize how "beginner" we really are in this hobby / sport of ours!

I can't wait for the first experience watching a USA World and Olympic team be chosen!!

Just think Toni what you might see and hear at the Nats. "Ladies and Gentlemen in place of Miss Liang who placed 3rd after the Misses Kwan and Cohen, we have decided to send Miss Meissner to the Olympics. Ms Liang will represent the USA at the Worlds in Vancouver."

This could happen.

that was very hard for my burnt out brain to comprehend... took me a couple of read throughs to get it ;)

you're going to be in St. Louis, right Joe?

No - I have not recieved my tickets. But I DID dust off that manilla folder (in my drawer since January) to verify that I printed the e-mail confirming my ticket purchase. I hope folks will start posting here when they begin getting tickets so we can all make sure we get what we paid for.

CAN'T WAIT!!

I found this article in National Geographic Traveler about the revival of the downtown area in st. louis. I definitely want to see the new art museum.

Toni - I'll be there. I am going with a tour group because I found a room mate which makes things a lot cheaper. Everything is included including a couple of sight seeing tours which I may or may not take. They usually come during one of the events which I don't like to miss. I am also a "Friend of the USFSA" which gives a luncheon for the members and that's fun.

Hope to see you and Heather there and all the members of GS who are going.

sounds like fun, Joe!

we should sooooooooooooooooooooooooo find a time to have a GS hook up!

Hey Joe, got a question for ya about that luncheon. Is it just for "Friends of the USFSA" or is it open to USFSA members too? I ask b/c my brother's a member.

I think he can take in a friend. Anyway, I also think if you find out where it is you can kind of just slip in.
