Dad's being deployed in < 48 Hours!

here's the latest via my mom:

t/t your dear ol' dad at 7:00...they were loading up the last of their evacuees...now they are closing down the shelter and getting ready for their farewell dinner tomorrow night...he signed up to help in florida if they need him, but he doesn't know when he'll be coming home...we know for sure it will be next sunday, but could be sooner if they don't need him in florida...

more good news!

just talked to daddy...if all goes well and hurricane ike doesn't get really bad, he will be home tomorrow night at 10:00...same flight as he would've come home on next sunday

DAD IS ON HIS WAY HOME!!!!!!!!!!!

He will be in Anchorage around 8:30 tonight and then he'll be home by 10!!! yay!
