Just saw a promo of the up coming season and was that Apollo the speed skater as one of the dancers?

I hear Heather Mills-McCartney soon to be the EX Mrs. McCartney will be one of the dancers as well. That should be interesting as Heather has one wooden leg!!!

It will be interesting to watch Mills-McCartney. I'll be just as curious to see if she is voted off first by Beatles fans as I will be to see how well she dances overall.

In one of the promos, Heather said her biggest challenge will be keeping her leg on.

There is no way she gets voted off any time soon.
The 'wronged woman' with a prosthetic leg?
TV gold! A ratings bonanza......
Wouldn't surprise me if she makes it to the finals.
All fair and on the up and up, naturally, it is, after all, a 'reality' show is it not.......

I'll be watching from the start this time. Wooden leg, naw it's hard plastic. Does she need special made shoes?

Mills-McCartney did quite well. I was impressed but my vote goes to Apolo Anton Ohno. If he gets some practice time in he could be in the final 3.

I agree, Ohno did great.

That was an interesting comment by the judge, though, that he is going to be in trouble for the quickstep because of his "speedskater's posture." (Throw those shoulders back, Apolo, LOL.)

Also, I think he has a disadvantage because his partner is so young and (I presume) inexperienced as a teacher/coach. They do look good together, though.

Hey, Megz, if you take Apollo, I'll take his partner!
I can dance, too........

I'll second that! But I would really like someone to take Ian to free up God's gift to the ballroom floor Cheryl    *swoon*

How about that John and Edyta????? Mix match.

Apolo will be the one to beat, but they (the ones who seem to have the most natural talent) usually seem to wind up with 2nd because another show "more improvement." AAO is no the target like "Cutie pie" last season.

Who was the one John came on to replace at the "last minute"???

Ah, I digress.....*swoon*

Answer to my "q." - http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/...nberger-joining-dancing-with-stars-4-4791.php

"John Ratzenberger, best known for portraying Cliff Claven on the sitcom Cheers, will replace The Sopranos actor Vincent Pastore on the upcoming fourth season of Dancing with the Stars, ABC announced on Good Morning America Friday."

- And did voice overs in just about every Pixar flick.:agree:

BTW, Karina and Billy make a nice looking couple, is she going to steal a heart again???

It looked like some of the ballroom dancers got into the Ice dancers closets. I was not impressed with some of the professional dancers. I wonder if Ms Mills will have to dance to a Beatles song?? It would be nice. Do you think Paul will come and cheer her on just because he's a good guy???

First, I doubt she's interested given the hate vibes she exuded after last night's performance. Second, he's married. Not that it means much, but he is.

 :agree: I was not to serious but it is nothing I would put past her. That is a mighty "big time" lady she would have to get him from, she seems like the "man-eater type" to me and even though I didn't think that it would, it was a funny thought of.... I think she is a "naughty girl."

The woman's dancing on one leg. Why would they torture her any more? IIRC it's NOT an amicable split--I doubt very much they'd subject her to her ex's music. Not to mention subjecting US to the band's rendition thereof.

As for ballroom...I'm hestitant to say it (see my custom user title) but really...we dress way, way trashier in Latin than ice dancers, except our dresses are usually better material with a LOT more stones. Grosses more. Although Grushina still has outdone everything I've ever seen, even in ballroom. (Boob tassels are not popular.)

The pros all looked great. My pick so far: Ian Ziering had the best body line and footwork. My ballroom pro likes Clyde Drexler, as soon as he relaxes. And my choice for spoiler is John Ratzenberger, who was phenomenal for having only half the practice time as everyone else. (Yes, I'm biased towards the men, but having just started learning how to lead, they have the harder job.)
