Not at her best today, but she's still my favourite junior. That backwards arabesque spiral into her triple axel was so lovely! The combination spin was beautifully paired with the music as well, though I'd have loved her to hold the Ina Bauer just a fraction longer, to really glory in that crescendo. I shall blame her trying to catch up with the choreography after the mistake on the combo for that.

It does make me feel a little wistful, watching these skates and knowing there won't be a JGP. Health comes first, though!

No, you're not bad at recognizing jumps! I'd have to watch her skate again, but I'm guessing it was either a double axel or a triple something else, and somewhere in the process of writing my comment, I fluffed it.

Still my favourite junior, and I still love her axel entrance for this programme. She was so happy to skate clean, and the delight and surprise on her face when she saw her score was adorable.

Dar'ya delivered a strong and confident performance today.
She rehearsed her skating backwards in arabesque many times in front of the mirror and repeated it flawlessly on the ice.

Daria was so beautiful and elegant today, wonderful costume, confidant performance. She is the best overall. However, I don’t like her SP, a little conservative to me. I really want her to try new style.
