(eternal favorites aside) Daria is my number one choice for Beijing 2022. I love her skating so much. I don’t know why, but I also have a great feeling about her future.

I was rewatching Daria fs and I noticed Plushenko and his team standing next to the boards on the left of the rink. Isnt that a form of intimidation because he's literally right in front of her when she prepares to jump. You can see him standing behind her when she starts her step seq. And then later he was making those stupid eyebrow thing at the camera. . Kinda cheap to stoop that low.

She is always such a lovely skater to watch - so much softness and grace in her motions, and I really do think the backwards arabesque spiral into the 2A is such a unique transition. I do hope she gets something a little different for both programmes next year; I'd love to see her expand her range of interpretation, as I think she has the makings of a very promising artistic skater.Daria's today's SP from the Moscow Championships:

I love Daria so much! She is such a unique skater with amazing skating skills and artistry! I can’t wait to see her skate some more and I am so glad that she is having a good break out season
