- Why didn't you go to additional starts before the start of the Grand Prix?
"It happened. I don't know for sure myself. But I had time to dash off the programs and prepare better for this tournament.
- Alexandra Trusova prompts you as a more experienced skater, or are you still rivals?
"Of course. Everyone understands who the opponent is to whom, even in this competition. During the preparation for the tournament, the road here and the training there was nothing evil. Everything is as usual, calm. We are all adequate people and we understand that everything is decided by skating on ice. And everything is good in life."
- Tell us a little about your program. Whose idea and choice of music was it?
"My short program is directed to the soundtrack from The Greatest Showman. This idea was suggested by coaches, Eteri Georgievna (Tutberidze) and Daniil Markovich (Gleichengauz). They were staged in Novogorsk. I really like this program. I watched the film, I liked it, it is so powerful in itself. The opera diva sings this song in the film with such vigor. Trying to convey this in a track."

I remember that. I hope the Russian federation is finally on top of these issues because they don't need any Visa nonsense going into the Olympics and worlds this season.Little
There was a whole expedition of russian skaters and coaches to Tashkent for the visa who didn't gain their visa earlier (like Eteri is travelling to america becasue of Diana and Sasha and Evgenia T./Vladimir already competed in the United States this season, so they had it, but the rest had to gain it elsewhere). It's not that unusual to be forced to travel to another country to get a visa, for instance in the past there were times when Canada didn't provide visas here in the Czech Republic for the reasons that are not important here and the Czechs who wanted to travel to Canada had to obtain their visa at the canadian embassy in Austria.
What can Dasha realistically score in her free skate if she's clean? 150 - 160 points?
She may be the only skater in the world who can score 230 points without an ultra jump.
It was an emotional program
. She was mesmerizing and splendid
. One of her best SP. 
She may not be the stronger skater among the batch but her delicacy and sensitivity are unmatched

Alina Zagitova was able to do that as well (and Evgenia under the old scoring system). Domestically Dasha already scored 153 at nationals and 155 at Channel One Trophy. Here we have to tame the expectations for it is her debut, though if clean I think she can be very close 150. But first thing is I wish her to skate clean.
Well .. they have kostornaia ... that can do that to with the potencial of 3A ... that's why daria is difficult to make the team she is kostornaia 2.0 ... if they want an athlete without ultra elementes ... they can put kostornaia without the 3A ... and with the benefit that she could gain again the 3A.
So Daria needs a 3A or a 4

well Alena is inconsistent and she lost a whole season after switching to Plushi. Dasha just starts her senior career and if she can skate clean and score above 230, she can make the olympic team. Same for Sasha, she may have the strongest program but it’s a do or die with her inconsistency.

Is very true. But aliona's skating does not seem that stable. She still has time before nationals bit's nationals but she has to stabilize her skating and Dasha has already done that.
Yes having the prospect of her triple axel is a help for AK. But Dasha is in the mix.
She is inconsistent because of the 3A and stamina .. if eteri got ride of the 3A .. that would be a different story
But all of them have a true shot of making the team
